The anime series of My Dress-Up Darling consists of 12 episodes, adapted from the original manga written by Shinichi Fukuda and serialized on Young Gangan since 2018. The story is still continuing while the first anime adaptation ended.

The 12-episode first season of the My Dress-Up Darling anime completed at Volume 5 Chapter 39 in the manga series. The final episode 12 “My Dress-Up Darling (その着せ替え人形は恋をする)” corresponds to Chapter 37-39 of the fifth volume.

My Dress-Up Darling has been serialized on Young Gangan, a popular Japanese manga magazine published twice a month, since 2018. There are 11 volumes in the manga series of My Dress-Up Darling published so far (the latest volume 11 published in March, 2023), and two new volumes are released twice a year. The English translation is catching up with the Japanese edition.
When will My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 come?
It has been officially announced that the next season of My Dress-Up Darling will be made in the near future. The season 2 would be based on the volume 6-10 while the first season was adapted from the first five volumes. More importantly, the first season of the anime adaptation just received good reactions.
