To understand the strange circumstance, they visit the laboratory of Associate Professor Iesumi, however, she disappears to somewhere else.

Koyomi brings in Yotsugi again to cope with the fabric apparition, and they enter an uninvestigated room to get a clue about the missing professor. There is an adult-sized doll made of the bedding, whose face is stabbed with a knife. After their fighting with the clothing apparitions there, Yotsugi finds a palm-sized teddy bear abandoned on the rooftop of the apartment.

Just before that, Koyomi receives an e-mail from Meniko, who succeeds in deciphering a letter written in multiple languages by Associate Professor Iesumi. According to the letter that seems to be her will, she has the hideous past that she was raised confined in a cage and stunted by malnutrition since her parents wanted her to stop growing.

When she was twenty years old, she was stabbed in her back by her father but made an escape from the cage. She also says the terrible rooms with the creepy dolls is a recreation of her past.
