Lots of people are enjoying trendy contents with the theme of Death Game on various platforms, and a Death Game manga series titled Blue Lock (ブルーロック) has burst into the spotlight in Japan and overseas since its anime adaptation was released in October, 2022. Written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura, the soccer-themed manga has been serialized on Weekly Shonen Magazine since 2018.

The story unfolds when 300 selected high-school strikers are invited to a special training facility Blue Lock.
